Ribafreixo Wines is a winery project comprised of the Moinho Branco Estate, with its sizeable 114 ha in Vidigueira, Portugal, a region with a long-standing winemaking tradition.
Their winemaker Paulo Laureano – renowned for his “art in crafting wines of excellence” – is one of the fundamental drivers in their growing success and recognition.
The new Winery with 4000 sqm had its first harvest in 2012, standing out with its modern lines integrated in the landscape of Vidigueira and packed with the latest technology, with a capacity to produce up to 1 000,000 bottles. Its bioclimatic design, energy efficiency and recycling systems use natural light and gravity force, in a variety of operations.
Wine Tourism was one of the objectives when planning the new infrastructure, with a Wine Shop, a typical regional Restaurant and Tasting areas – for tourist activities. With picture framed views of their vineyard, the winery has a wonderful setting to satisfy the most demanding visitor.
